Ships Galley

Just finished this one at work. Thanks to Marcelo Vignali I have now picked up some new techniques, that he's been so kind and share with me. I really enjoyed trying out something different than I'm use to (the good ol' blue COL-ERASE!). This piece is done with Prismacolor pencil on vellum, which was a thrill to work with.
If you have not yet been on Marcelo's blog, hurry up and get on over there. His work will blow your mind! www.vignalistudio.blogspot.com

Old Zapper!

I had a real good time doing this one, since it included both Character and BG design.

Train Conductor

Did this one at work today. Since I'm mainly in charge of Location Design, it's not very often I get to do characters and coloring. It was fun to switch up a bit and think it turned out ok, let me know what you think:)

First Matte "Painting"!

And now to something completely different!.... This is my first attempt to do a Matte "Painting" in PhotoShop. So far it's in 20 layers, not quite done yet, just thought I'd blog it and hopefully get a little outside input on it. Let me know what you think:) Thanks

Thanks to your input it now looks more believable:D I blurred some of the background layers slightly and changed the sky, so it's no longer backlit. Looks much better, thanks:)

Top Shot

Here's a more interesting angle. It's not identical to the building below, I changed it up a bit for better composition.
