Kids In Colors
I had the pleasure of doing some more character designs and coloring on the current CG film we're working on. They needed six cute kids, but to avoid having to model them all from scratch, I came up with one generic kid that could be altered with minor modifications. Even though they all have the same body shape, I tried to make them look as different as possible. The little girl with the lollypop has a more significant role in the film, so she's slightly different. I cleaned up and colored the Mom, but cannot take credit for the awesome design made by my friend and co-worker, the great Ben Reynolds! Please go check out his superb blog on www.reynoldsben.blogspot.com

Beach Cove
Here's my latest vellum piece. This will probably be the last one I get to add to my portfolio, since it's almost done and ready to send out....finally! If you look in the background, you'll see the "Fishing Wharf" you might remember from one of my earlier posts. I added the line-drawing and will post a few of my preliminary sketches tomorrow, to show the work in progress. Any feedback and critique is of course much apprciated, thanks.

Billy Philly's Friends
Sorry I haven't posted anything for a while. I'll have some new stuff to post soon, but until then, here's a few characters I came up with about two years ago. It's an idea that's been in the back of my head for a long time, which I hope someday to develope further and maybe turn into either childrens books or possibly animation.
