Kids In Colors

I had the pleasure of doing some more character designs and coloring on the current CG film we're working on. They needed six cute kids, but to avoid having to model them all from scratch, I came up with one generic kid that could be altered with minor modifications. Even though they all have the same body shape, I tried to make them look as different as possible. The little girl with the lollypop has a more significant role in the film, so she's slightly different. I cleaned up and colored the Mom, but cannot take credit for the awesome design made by my friend and co-worker, the great Ben Reynolds! Please go check out his superb blog on www.reynoldsben.blogspot.com

Hey Hans,

These are a lot of fun. I do have to say though, due to the stylistic nature of these kids I think they would make a great series of bobble heads for your dashboard. Looks good. Keep up the good work.

hi hans. thanks for checking out my blog. :) I been posting everyday now. I will continue to post, and your comments are always appreciated. the kids are cute, my favorite is the little red head with glasses. haha, he looks like he's going to the beach, all he needs it's a little plastic shovel and a cool bucket and he's ready to go. I see different personality just by the different outfits you chose for them.

great job. I think I should try doing something like this. :)

Thanks for all the nice comments:). You have definitely motivated me to do some more character designing. I might try and incorporate some characters into my BG's as well to create more story telling images.

Thanks again, you're my inspiration:)
