Ancient City

Here's the final (...or as final as it gets for now) version of the Ancient City. It was a learning experience and It's quite detailed, so it took me a little while to color. This is the first time I've ever colored any of my layouts. I added the rough sketch, a more detailed line-drawing, plus a black and white to show values better.

wow this is great, love the attention to detail. The coloured one is definetly my favourite - I thnk the character of the setting is most effectively conveyed in that one. Love the colours, and the rendering of that water!

HANS!!!

I remember when you'd probably run if you saw Photoshop in front of you. Now look at you...FULL COLOR LAYOUTS!! sO proud of you, man. Bloggin' is great isn't it?

about my ish...I use both PS and Painter. But, about 90% of the time, I'm using PS. The reason...user interface is friendlier, I'm faster in it and I have brushes that are comprable to Painter brushes. I do like to use Painter for pre-lim drawings or just use it for paper textures and a "few" cool brushes.
