Tropical Jungle Thing

Hey everybody,
First of all I'd like to thank for all the great and encouraging
support I've received over the past few months, it keeps
me motivated! I've met some really great and talented
people through "blogging" and hope to meet many more:)
Sorry I haven't posted anything new for a while, but it's
simply because I haven't worked on anything lately I
felt was Blog worthy. I'm kinda waiting to get started on
the next film, plus I'm trying to figure out painting in
PhotoShop. Hope it's not completely against the rules to
repost?! I have some stuff I posted in the very beginning,
that some of you might not have seen. Am hoping to return
with fresh material soon, until then......

Hi. I got you in my feedreader, so I get noticed instantly about your new posts. Great layout (as usual!) but maybe more vegetation in the middle distance would contribute to the tropical forest sensation (I mean, the open space is too wide, isn't it?)
;-)

Hi and thanks for your comments:) You're absolutely right, but the reason for the empty space is that I had to make room for some animal characters. This one was actually for a large wall mural I did a while back. I have some more murals that I'll probably post later. By the way, that Ilion studio looks awesome! Looks like Pixar's finally getting some sharp competion from Europe. Being European myself, it's a thrill to see the boom that's happening in industry over there. Can't wait to see the new Asrterix feature, hopefully it'll make it to the theaters over here too.

Take care,

Hans
