Toy Sub In Giant Fish

Here's another black prismacolor on vellum. I spent a little less time on this one and held back on the details. It's a toy sub inside a giant fish and some might wonder where the light is coming from??? but since it's probably pitch black inside a fish and we needed some light, I chose to ignore the logic and concentrate on the mood.

Just added the latest version after foolin' around with it a bit more at work.

Misc. Character Sketches

A few more Charcacter Sketch pages from my portfolio. Since I switched it up a bit since the prior character page I posted, a few of them are "reruns".
I wanna thank you all for the great encouragement and critique you've provided me with through all your much appreciated comments. It has definitely helped me build a stronger portfolio.

CARS

...No, not THAT Cars!....but oh how I wish. I had to do a bunch of cars at work today (rear view only), so I came up with this page of 18 different vehicles. It was actually quite fun to do and definitely a good exercise.

Reverse Shot Of Ships Galley

I had to do a reverse shot of the "ships galley" and since It's going to be modeled in 3D, I needed to get as much info and detail in it as possible. I think I managed to cover the whole room in the two drawings. That makes producer-guy happy:)
Since I already worked out the look of the galley, I pretty much knew what I wanted to do, so I don't have any "footwork" sketches to show this time.

I'm adding a few Misc. Character sketches in the back of my portfolio. This is just one of the pages I put together. Gave them a little color in PS to make it all more festive!

Bosniak "The Boss" Capelli

Don't wanna get his #1 hitman Slaboviek on my back, so I can't say much! All I know is, that this guy, Bosniak "The Boss" Capelli is the man you don't wanna double-cross. He apparently runs the underworld of Eastern Europe and who knows what else?!

Under Fishing Wharf

This is my third piece done with black prismacolor pencil on vellum. Water is a tough thing to deal with, it looks so random, but it's really hard to make it look right. I studied some underwater photos and did the best I could to imitate what I saw. Still room for improvement, but am satisfied with the overall look and feel. To show the work in progress, I added my first sketch, a quick PhotoShop rendering and the blue colerase under-drawing. Critique and comments are highly appreciated:)

Just added another version with thicker more underwater-like atmosphere, that seems to work better and more convincing.
