Jungle Layout

Here's a layout for a 10'x32' jungle themed wall mural I did yesterday. I actually did two of them this week, so I might post the other one later. When I'm not working on film stuff, this is pretty much what I do. I've probably done somewhere between 100 and 150 of these so far. Not all jungle though, the themes varies from "Big City Rooftops" to "Deep Underwater" and everything inbetween.

Update: I do not actually go out and paint the murals myself. I make the designs and layouts and then a skilled team of painters travels to the client. Mostly out of state and across the country.

2nd Update: By popular demand, I dug up some photos of finished wall murals and themed environments I've designed over the past few years. These are all my designs (exept some character designs and few existing props), but only design! Color choice and actual painting (on location) was done by other artists.
The "Jungle" mural design I posted here, will probably not be painted until 4-6 months from now.

Thanks a lot for all your comments and your interest in my work. I really appreciate it!:)

Jampix: I'll see if I can get some pics of some of the murals I've designed. I don't paint them myself, I just do the design and layout.

Andrew: Most of the murals I've done is mainly for churches across the country and a few in Canada I believe. The largest themed environment project I've worked on so far, was for Lakewood in Texas, which is the largest church in America. I believe it's the old football stadium they turned into a "mega church".

Dave: I just design the murals and then the studio send out a team of skilled painters to paint it on the clients walls. I've actually never seen any of the finished work myself. Only a few of them on photos.

Todd: It'll probably be a few months before this one will actually be painted, but I'll see if I can get some pics when it's done.

Thanks a lot for the comments guys, it's as always much appreciated:)

I used to have the pleasure of looking over your shoulder everyday and watching you draw. You’re the man. How's Yasmeen doing? I hope you guys are doing well. Tell her I said Hi.

WOW! I love this design!! It's my favorite thing to do, painting on walls! heehee! I guess I just enjoy covering such a large area with my markings :) I've been wanting to do a rainforest theme somewhere, but, I can't find a wall to do it on at the moment . . . Do any of the clients send you pics of the finished projects? I'd love to see them in color :)

Marcos: Well, I'm trying to stay busy. It can sometimes be a little hard to keep up with everything, but at least I'm never bored:). Working on films is definitely my number one occupation though.

Brian: Thanks, I'm glad you think so;) There is times where the painters takes liberties I wish they wouldn't, but at that point it's out of my hands.

Again, thanks a lot:)
